NCLEX PN 192 questions

Dear Forum:

I got quite a surpirise today. I thought I was really prepared for the exam.
I took a review course and all. I worked through thousands of questions.

I really thought I would get out in less than 100 questions. But when it went past 85 my attitude changed. I just wanted to do my best.

I amnot sure what 192 questions means. This is my second time taking test. The first time I had 205 questions.

Any word from others about having questions in this range? I am really anxious as my job really depends on this exam. I went through a jhospital sponsored LPN program.

Any remarks would be appreciated!

Thanks

Rocky2000

The amount of questions does not determine whether or not you passed NCLEX, fortunately. The computer will continue to spit out questions past 85 until it has concluded with certainty that you have shown you can practice safely, or not. Best of luck to you!

It could mean that you passed. It could mean that you failed. My point is that test takers can pass or fail NCLEX-PN with any number of questions between 85 and 205. We'll be rooting for you, and hoping that you passed. Good luck to you!

I agree I have heard about a wide range of people geeting 165, 150, 170's ect...the number of questions does not determine if you pass or fail. I had 85 and passed, my step-mom had 89 and passed and my sister had 205 and passed. So try and keep yourself busy as you wait When do u get your results?
