NCLEX-PN in 11 hours...when to try pvt?

hey guys! i know i havent been on here for quite some time, the RN program is keepin me busy. Anyhoo I take the PN exam in 11 hours *eek* i am not nearly as prepared as I thought I would be, but oh well, it's all in the Lords hands now. I always underestimate myself, so I'm hoping that's the situation now too More than 1 person has said to me, "oh you'll do good, you always do good" so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

My ? to you all is, how long after you take the NCLEX should you try the PVT? i do have quick results here in michigan, but thats not for 48 hours. And i will be going crazy and def trying to figure it out via pearsonvue! so how long do i wait?? i will make sure to let you all know how things to turn out.
PLEASE pray for me and everyone else facing the infamous nclex!! GOOD LUCK TO US

Within several hours you should be able to do the PVT. You have to wait until it says "delivered successfully" over to right after you log in. If it says anything other than that (like pending delivery or something else), then the PVT will not work correctly. I can't remember the exact time now but it was about 3 or so hours when I tried the PVT and got the right status message for it to work. I didn't believe it until I got my 48 hour results but it sure helped me remain a little "calmer".
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks all! My exam shut off at 85. I walked out feeling pretty good, so I think I'm going to be ok I believe that Kaplan really helped me prepare for the nclex. out of all my materials i bought to study, kaplan was the most informative and it was harder than nclex ?'s so i wasnt freakin out when i was taking the test!! i tried the PVT today and i got the famous pop-up so i'm crossing my fingers. Good luck to every1 else!
