Hi nurses!!! Can somebody help me? I am planning to take the NCLEX for California. I already downloaded the application forms. I am just wondering about the social security number, I'm from the Philippines and I don't have one. Will I just leave the item blank since it is not applicable on my part? My other question is, where can I request for a confirmation card? I can't find it in the rn.ca.gov website.

Hi guys....you will get faster (and likely more accurate) responses if you post these messages in the International Nurses Forum here. This thread is on a different topic.

I'm sorry I can't help you, but that's why I suggested the change of forum!

Ok folks really, we got to stop obsessing about the # of ?'s on the nclex, any # could go either way. I had 188 questions and passed last week and I just knew I had failed because I fed into the "75" question thing, relax people we know this stuff, nursing school made sure of that!

OK, so, I just took my LPN state boards today at 4:00, and here is/are the problem(s):

1. I probably won't find out until Monday, meaning I have to sweat ALL WEEKEND!

2. I had to answer all 205 questions

Seriously, has anyone heard of people having to answer all ?s and passing?!?!?

Help!

The original point of this thread was this:

People pass and fail at all different numbers of questions. No matter where your NCLEX cuts off question-wise, the odds of a pass are still in your favor.

A pilot (or unscored) question is one that does not actually count toward your exam. There are a significant number of those on every NCLEX. Those questions are being pretested to make sure that they're OK to use as real questions, basically.

Does anyone ever find out on the weekend if they passed/failed? I tested on Friday and still am waiting for results. I had 76 questions for the NCLEX-RN.
