    Hello,

    I will be taking NCLEX on Oct 2nd. I was wondering if any of yall have tips or comments on it. I am in Texas but comments about any other state are great also. Im getting nervous. I know there is no way I can possibly review it all. I have the Saunders review book and another green book the college gave me. Dont know where to start.

    Any comment/tip/opinion is appreaciate it!!

    If you are comfortable with the content, start reviewing test taking strategies (how to figure out what a question is asking, how to solve alternate format questions like SATA(select all that apply)), then start taking practice exams. Your review books should have practice questions. Take them for a timed test, then review your responses and the rationales of the correct answer. Knowing rationales will help you answer questions where you might not be certain on the subject.

    I will say this... Take your time DO NOT feel rushed to take it and mover your date if needed! I'm preparing to retest in late October (1st run was in Aug) this time around instead of studying from different text books I'm going to concentrate on 1! I read up on the NCSBN and I'm leaning towards that since they do make the exam... I feel I flooded my brain with soooo much info EXAM CRAM, KAPLAN, VATI, SAUNDERS.... that when it was time to sit I was full! Is there anybody that can share some insight on this site and whether or not its helpful.. I read some post but I also read good post for VATI that I DO NOT LIKE so I need help also.... I thinking the Kaplan Online course and nothing else! ...

    Have yo taken it yet?? I took it and is was super hard to me. I dont think anything that I reviewed was on that crazy test. I had 109 questions but Thanks to God I passed.
