Hi Everyone, I was just curious as to what, how everyone else was doing in their kaplan, saunders or whichever nclex practice scores and uh the result of your nclex exam. Most of the posts I found were ah a few years old. Also good luck everyone who has still to take the exam. Please share or comment on the following:

- Kaplan QT 1-7 scores

- Kaplan Qbank average

- Kaplan Diagnostic Test

- Kaplan Readiness Test

- Total practice questions completed

- How long did you prepare

- Questions per day

- Books used

@ebonyRN_23 - make sure you know why you got something wrong and if its content you need to review saunders on that part. Good luck!!

Thankyou inori! I wish i can reschedule but I actually don't have the option of retaking it since my orientation for the job starts July 10 and I have to be licensed by then :(. Cutting it real close since I just recently got approved for taking the boards.

I guess I'm going to have to look at my weak areas and study it before taking the next q banks. Will update my scores by Saturday for qtrainers 5, 6, 7 :/.

Quick question for those of you who have already passed your NCLEX and used Kaplan.

Did you review the Kaplan content lectures and did you watch the Guided Review of Questions after watching the lectures? I couldnt dare sit through the content lectures because they were so long and boring but hopefully it wont be an issue for me because I had the Hurst Review last week and Im using them for content. But what about the question reviews? Im trying to sit through it and watch them all, but theyre 3-4 hours a topic and I feel like Im wasting valuable study time by watching these videos.

Any thoughts?

I did most of the content and review of questions it gets very time consuming. I test tomorrow I will let you know what helped and what was a waste of time.

Cool. Thanks!

Did anyone use exam cram and exam prep? I'm testing in the morning and have been scoring about 60 on all practice exams.

Thanks sun rock ! Im reading answering the la charity and hope that I will pass this time .thanks for the advice.
key to answering qquestions is eliminate the 2that u know are incorrect, then take A calculated guess when unsure of a question. Read everything on blood, endocrine system esp insulin all the types, when they peak etc. , thyroid, and assessment , I also had care plans . Prioritization /trusting of pre in the field who would u see first

Meant to say triaging in the field. Say for instance u had a dsg, bld draw, insulin to admin., new pt. , who would u visit first,

Get flash cards. Donot forget when will u give 50% glucose . Put each insulin on one with peak times etc. Ok remember the order for abd assess. I had it., know everything about blood and blood products, what would u hang if u had to discontinue due to fever, things kind that , not s/s.
