Hey everyone, I know some say not to look at others scores but it sure helps with the confidence. I take my test in 5 days and my question trainer scores a some what random. I was just wondering if any of you had advice to relieve my stress (lol I know its impossible) do these score look good? i'm not sure if they are good or not. HELP!

QT1:65%

QT2:645

QT3:69%

QT4:55.3%

QT5:60.7%

QT6:53.5%

I just did question trainer 6 and was a little disappointed with the score. I was so frustrated, I got up 100 times, I had to google some words I had never seen before. I evaluated the first 75 questions and score 42 right of the 1st 75. I'm reviewing question trainer 6 as much as I can today and the rest tomorrow. I find it so difficult to do it and really review it all in one day.

PLEASE HELP WITH ANY ADIVCE!!! IM FREAKING OUT!!

Ok. Arguably 85% of the people who take the NCLEX will pass. People scoring 50%-70% on practice questions through NCBSN, Silverstri, and Kaplan all tend to do well.

Hello. I complete understand where you are coming from. I will give you my scores from Kaplan and hope it eases your anxiety

Q4 - 55%

Q5 - 57%

Q6 - 62%

Q7 - 58%

Sample test1 - 74%

Sample test2 - 52%

Sample test3 - 80%

I took my NCLEX yesterday and attempting to use the decision tree in each question but it felt like most questions went from step 1 to step 5. Test ended after 149 and found out today that I passed.

Believe in yourself and think through each answer choice before deciding. I would put down an X for any answer choice that I eliminated and wrote why before deciding on the answer. I went through 3 erase boards. The test center said "most people don't usually need more than 1 board"

first let me start by saying CONGRATS! I know how much we all want it and strive for it. I get so happy when I hear someone has passed I can only imagine when I see my own pass. im going to need a few boards myself. Your scores are helping me with the anxiety I am currently having. I wanted to ask you a few questions i'm sure people and friends have asked you a bunch...

1- did you receive a lot of select all that apply (they freak me out I always miss one or add one)

2-did you only use Kaplan to study?

3-did you have to google words you didn't know while doing the question trainers? I don't want to feel like im cheating lol

Thank you so much!!!

I received several. There were times where I was receiving them back to back. I noticed that I would get a recall type question after a SATA so I figured I didn't answer it correctly. haha They can be hard but all I can say is to just treat them as a true or false question. If you feel that it is a false, mark it false and move on.

2-did you only use Kaplan to study?

No, I also used ATI casually since it came with my school. I also used the LaCharity Prioritization, delegation and assignment book (only like half).

For ATI, I didn't take seriously because after doing all the questions, I remember the answers.

I passed NCLEX on my 2nd attempt so going through ATI assessments, I remember a good amount of the answers.

3-did you have to google words you didn't know while doing the question trainers? I don't want to feel like im cheating lol

Yes, I googled words or drugs that I didn't know but I attempted to limit it or at least only look to confirm my answer.

Thank you so much! all that matter is that you passed! I will let you know if I get the good pop-up. Trying to stay positive. I plan to go over the classification of the basic medications this weekend and memorize those really well since I don't have time to go through all of them. hopefully it helps me with process of elimination. I also want to do the select all the apply for Saunders and pray for the best is all I can do at this point! thanks for the help!

I hope you are right lol! im horrible at select all that apply I always add one or forget one.

Try your best and the most important thing is trying to get a lot of higher level questions right.

Don't stress yourself out too much. Your program prepared you for the NCLEX and I am sure you will do just fine.
