NCLEX in 20 days!!! (January 15, 2013)

Nursing Students NCLEX

I am sooo nervous!... I have done HURST Review and am now doing Kaplan review: so far my diagnostic score was a 61.11% QT1: 60% and QT2: 64% I am still working through reading the Course Book and reviewing the content lesson...

I have been doing 100-150 questions a day whether its on Kaplan or flash card questions. I am afraid that a lot the questions I am doing are too easy and will be easier than what will be on the actually NCLEX...

I feel so discouraged at times because I have a lot depending on me passing the NCLEX, a new job lined up, my parents, boyfriend, etc. :nailbiting:

Is there anything else I can do different? Are my scores okay? Any advice will help!!

Thanks :shy:

yea me too but im using nclex 3500 for more alternate type questions. Was the sata questions easy like you would know what to pick or was it hard like kaplan??

I didn't think it was too bad like you can think your way through it comparable to some of kaplans only because some of kaplans were pretty straight forward

Dubs2012, I'm so happy you passed!!! I took it today - honestly, for me, it was so hard that I was sure I failed. I left crying...however I did get the good pop up so I'm thanking God. I think I might have made it :) I had 75 questions, it took me 3 hours, and many select all that apply, but no med questions, no OB or Peds. Honestly Kaplan was hard but worth every penny and all my studying in Saunders paid off. I will be back to say more about my experience, but right I'm going to try and calm down. I am so greatful to everyone. **Hugs to you Dubs and everyone else who took it today!**

Ugh I test in 4 days and I am so ridiculously stressed out and anxious right now! I just keep plugging away at my Kaplan Qbank questions and reviewing any content I'm not familiar with but I almost feel as though I'm not even sure "how" I should be studying for the NCLEX at this point. My Qbank average is a 66% - which I'm not too thrilled about  but don't really know what else I should be doing at this point. Some mornings I wake up and feel so ready & confident to test and other days, like today, I'm terrified and just want it over with! I'm tyring to stay positive, pray, & keep my eye on the prize!

Any advice anyone?

Congrats again to everyone who is passing their boards!!!!!!

Baby I took the nclex 9 times im fed up.

CONGRATS RN!!!!!!!! PROUD OF YA! :roflmao::D how AMAZING does it feel!?!!!!! my name finally appeared on my state's BON today! woohoo!!!!

I think all of your feelings are normal...I would go through phases of being confident in myself and then seriously doubting myself to the point of tears! You have 4 days left so my advice to you would just be to keep practicing questions but most of all, keep your chin up and be confident in yourself! I know, harder than it sounds but seriously...if you walk in doubting yourself with a negative attitude I truly believe it will take away from you performing your best on the big day! And if it makes you feel any better, my qbank average was in the 50's and I only finished half of the qbank and I was still able to pass in 75 questions. You can do it, keep telling yourself you can
