NCLEX and Pearson Vue Trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey! I took my NCLEX-RN this afternoon at 2pm.. I took 115 questions and when it cut off I was terrified and devastated. I heard about the "trick" on Pearson Vue and decided to try i when I got home..

Tried to re-register and I got an error pop-up saying something along the lines of "this person has already scheduled an exam, contact your board of nursing for assistance, another exam cannot be scheduled at this time."

I have read that that means "pass", but I am still skeptical??

congrats everyone.. and thanks for the name of the books....

Just looked up my Quick Results....PVT works again....I'm an RN!!!! By the way, I thought the online test prep and bank from www.learningext.com was very helpful. It is put on by NCSBN, the ones that put on the state board exams. You can get access to their question bank for 3 weeks for $50. It was by far the most helpful thing I did and the questions are very similar in style. A lot of practice questions on Priority, Select all that apply, and various other formats. Good luck!

I want to say that I believe in the trick. I got home and tried this a couple of hours after taking my NCLEX RN and I tried it every day after.

I got the "good" pop up stating that I had already scheduled this exam and to contact my state board of nursing....

I just got my quick results in about 40 minutes ago.

I HAVE PASSED!! I am now an RN

:yelclap:

Congrats everyone! This isn't a trick anymore, its the TRUTH!

I PASSED!!!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I took the NCLEX-RN exam 2 days ago. My computer shut off at 75 questions and I was terrified. In my mind I knew I had just failed there was no way on earth I could have passed! I felt like all my hard work and determination just went up in smoke! My mom told me about the Pearson Vue trick and although I was skeptical I was willing to try anything because I couldn't wait two days for my results. I was gonna drive myself nuts! When I got the good pop up I was happy but still down a little because it was really hard n I was trying not to get my hopes up in case I failed. She researched everywhere n told me EVERYONE that got sent to the credit card page FAILED n everyone that got the message "This test has been previously scheduled" had PASSED! n they couldn't find one person where it said they passed n really failed so I was trying to cling on.Well I got my results today n it said I PASSED so I am here to tell you the trick works:)....I am now a RN!!!:nurse:

It worked for me. I passed!!!!!:loveya: Now to find a job!!

i told myself that right after i get my results, i would definitely comment on the pearson vue trick. i am hoping that this would be able to help somebody alleviate any worries that they might have and possibly help them save $7.95.

i took my exam jan 14, 2012. after about an hour and half of total confusion and the computer shutting off on me after the 75th question, i was very sure that i had failed the exam. i only knew 2 questions. i left the examination room totally defeated. on my way out, one of the attendants there asked me how i think i did and i honestly told her that i did not know and i was really hoping i passed because i did not want to spend another $200 on the same exam. she then told me that i could wait and get my results that same day. i said 'really?' and then she said yeah. that if i waited till about 12 midnight for sure i may be able to pay to get the unofficial result (at this point i was under the impression that it took 2 business to get the result and being that monday was a holiday - mlk - i would have to wait till tuesday). then this kind lady then told me about the 'trick'. she said she heard that it works and that i could try it. before now i had never heard of such a trick and i was grateful that she told me. i thought about how this trick works and it makes perfect sense

listen, i am very objective and like to face facts. this is a capitalist society in which we live in - meaning its all about the bottom line. it makes total sense that if one fails the nclex, a way is provided immediately for that person to register. we are talking about money here. it also makes sense that if one passes the nclex the person cannot register because if that person registers and pays the non refundable fee and later finds out that they passed - isnt that a law suit possiblity that pearsonvue would do anything to avoid? so to avoid such things, if you pass you cannot register and if you fail you can register but would have to wait for the bon to send you a new att so you can set a date.

now i have read some comments where people still do not believe the trick and they called pearson vue to ask them if the trick works. let me ask you this - if i am selling a product in order to make money, do you think i would tell you where to get it for free? let that be food for thought. do you think pearson vue would tell you that you can do the trick for free to know the outcome of your examination or ask you to give them $7.95 so they can give you the answer.

my conclusion is that the trick works 100% all the time if you try it after successfull delivery of the exam ( it should say that on your account page). if you get a pop up that would not let you register then you have passed. i know some people who try it and get the cc page still like to hold on to hope and believe that they still passed. i have to say that there is still hope of passing but not that exam. you would have to register for another exam in hopes of passing.

so back to me. i took nclex rn on saturday 14 by 930a, was out about 10 mins before 11a, got home about 1p, tried the trick and it wont let me register. ofcourse i was still anxious and still wanted to try again to be double sure. i went out came back by 8p only to find out that pearson vue website was having maintenance and i couldnt do anything till 12 midnight. ofcourse i stayed up so i could try again and i still got the pop-up. i was still not convinced. tried on sunday and then on monday. by monday i see the option to pay to view my unofficial result but i refused to do that. i decided to check the bon site to see. ofcourse nothing - its a holiday. so i waited till now tuesday to check and voila what i knew all along but just had to confirm it before posting here - i passed. thank god

success to all who would be taking the exam soon.
