Hello guys im new to this website!!

I am seriously freaking out I cant sleep or even eat anymore!! In two weeks I will be taking nclex and I dont feel confident at all.

my scores are as follows

Kaplan qbank 50-60s for 50questions

Nclex 4000 75 question nclex practice tests average 70s

I did all the q trainers the first time scored in the high 50s and 60s im doing them a second time now after 2 months and im scoring in the high 70s but some of the answers i remembered from when I reviewed the tests initially...

SATA questions are my weakness

Please can anyone tell me if these scores are good enough to take nclex

I do about 150-200 questions per day is this good enough?

I am taking mine in 3 weeks and I am confident that I will kill the beast. I use saunders, exam cram, pda, nclex 3500, kaplan strategies, remar review, 35 page review. I am ready to kill tg is beast forever. Just be calm and take it easy. We will pass.

You'll be fine!! Honestly people make such a big deal about it, the saunders and lippincotts 3000 were WAYYYYYY harder! What helpes me the most was practising all of the "alternative format" questions! Good luck!!

Nclex question

What is the priority in sickle cell... O2, or fluids??

according to PDA its O2. I always thought it was fluids first!

Fluids.

My scores for the NCLEX 4000 started out in the 70's and then the week of me taking my NCLEX-RN my scores were in the 80's. That was mostly due to me having seen many of the questions before and knowing the answers without even reading the questions.

@ScottE. yes I agree with you im taking mine tuesday and this morning i scored 88 on nclex 4000 and thats bcuz i knew the answers to most of them already. I guess its a good way of practicing content too.

can anyone share their thoughts on NCBSN review!! Is it good for questions? is it similar to NCLEX?

Of the few questions I looked at on the NCSBN review the language style was similar to what I saw on the actual NCLEX-RN. I can't speak to the content though.

It's better to just do a custom exam on the content areas with NCLEX 4000 at least that way you'll get different questions. Just doing a 75 question full content exam 50% of the questions I'd seen before.

I thought the wording for NCSBN questions was similar to NCLEX.

Nclex question

Fluids first. In a crisis the cells have clumped together and are concluding vessels. The viscosity of the blood is thicker, the patient is dehydrated.

The sickled cells cannot hold O2.

Nclex question

doing some ncbsn questions.. review courses always say dont ask why questions but recently on ncbsn and pda those seem to be the answer sometimes for example

1. during administration of medications to a client, the client says to the nurse I do not want to take it today whatxis the appropiate response

a thats ok.. its ok to skip ur meds once in awhile

b do you understand the consequesces of not taking your med?

c is there a reason why you do not want to take your med today?

d i will have to call your doctor

I did get the question correct bcuz even though it is a yes/no question and it contains the word why it is the only assesment that sounds better ... but does anyone understand my confusion.. i tend to eliminate all why questions and i guess i cant do that anymore
