Nclex in 4 days!!!

Hi everyone! So as you can tell, I take my nclex on March 18th, so in 4 days!!!! I just finished question trainer 7 and that one was sooooooooooooo long! I had to take lots of mental breaks because I found myself reading and reading the questions over and over. I thought it was hard and guessed alot of them, thinking I will score in the 50s. Well after 25minutes left, I was done with 265 questions and scored a 60.38%. Tommorrow is my 4th day until the nclex and I want advice advice advice from here. I am doing Kaplan and Saunders for content review that I am weak in. Hell, after awhile everything mushes together in your brain lol. So here are my scores:

Question 1: 53.33% (Did not study anything after graduation)
    Question 2: 64%
Question 3: 52% <---Don't know how that happen! Good Lord
    Question 4: 65%
    Question 5: 59.33%
    Question 6: 62.5%
    Question 7: 60.38%
Readiness: 56.11% <---took this when I was freaking out, took this with Question Trainer 3 when I got my low score. Did not realize it was a one time test. Should have taken it after Question 7.

Quiz Bank: I have a 52% with only 47% completed, I plan on doing the rest of the quiz banks but i need any advice on anything. Thank you!!!!

A few days before the test i heard the negative voices in my head telling me negatitive things (you are going to fail, this isnt for you, you studied wrong, you arent going to pass). I Def heard these voices. I thought to myself though i ve been through hell in back in nursing school and have taken many challenging test so SCREW my negative thoughts. Stay positive Peppermint control your thoughts. I also find watching motivational videos on youtube is very helpful.

here is the video i watched when i left my house right before the nclex:

INSPIRATIONAL - HOW GREAT I AM - YouTube

after watching that video i was so pumped, like i was ready to fight the nclex, and went there confident.

Over power the negative voice you hear you control them.

I also found at times if I answered over 100-150 questions a day while reading rationales my scores would start to drop. So dont over do your studying.

Watch some inspirational videos. On your way up to take your Nclex-rn listen to a song that motivates you and get pumped like you are ready to BATTLE YOUR SOUL OUT. I was really so pumped for the test i was shedding tears of JOY on my way there..

Yes, it's absolutely normal to feel that way. I don't think any of us go to the testing center feeling very confident. So now is the time you work on confidence. For the next three days as you practice questions tell yourself, "I know how to choose the right answer to this question". Really focus on the question.

The day before the test is a mental health day. Do something you enjoy and relax.

On the day of the test make sure to eat breakfast and approach your test with confidence. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

I watched that video and felt so empowered that I realize I was in tears because you are right, I worked so hard to get here. I know I'm not the best at taking exams but I know that I sure as hell will give it everything that I got. I want to make my family proud but most of all myself proud. Thankyou again, I feel like the hardest part of this is controlling our mind.

I took my test on the 5th...passed in 75 questions. It was NOTHING like I thought it would be! I took the Saunders online course for 66.00 bucks and did it a few hours a day as they suggested. I also got the Saunders book from the library and used that CD in the evenings. The questions were not really like that on the actual test, but served a purpose as to knowing the content. My scores were anywhere from 60-80%. I obviously had good tests and bad tests. Just use what you have learned in school and clinicals and you will be fine! It is true about the need to stop studying a few days before...YOU NEED TO REST YOUR BRAIN!!!!! Good Luck..think, think, think, and you will pass!

glad the video empowered you. Maybe watch other ones like that to help stay positive! That is it! Just go there and give it everything you have. For every moment you are there apply your knowledge that best you can. Do your best and be as confident as you can walking in there. I also heard dressing nice yet comfortably is a good idea. I wore a nice comfortable dress shirt and nice khaki dress pants with some nice comfy dress shoes and I felt good walking in there ready to go!!
