Nclex

Hey students,

I just took the NCLEX exam today and I've come to tell you about it. I'm pretty sure I shut off at 75 although I don't know for sure (didn't see the number to the questions). I would say it was a difficult test but fair. On quite a few questions I was able to make educated guesses based on knowledge and application. I made sure I really read the question well and looked over ALL the options before I selected one.
I had two mark-all-that-apply questions, three math problems, and one fill in the blank. I'll let you know when I get the results.
Thanks everyone for their support now and when I was a young student coming to allnurses.com.

Good luck on your results. I am glad to hear there were only 2 questions where you had to select all that applied. I was thinking most questions would be in that format.

I get to take the NCLEX in just 11 months.

Thank you so much for posting this. This is the first time I've heard someone call the NCLEX "fair". I needed to hear that, because after hearing the new grads moan about it at work, I've worked myself into a tizzy. I am graduating dec 2004, lol!

Hey Zac,
I got 75 questions too. The questions were very hard and I had five fill in the blanks. I used a lot of the same strategies, but not too sure they worked. I had a lot of prioritity, psych, evaluation, and teaching. Well, good luck to you and me both since I took them today, as well.

Thanks guys for the good wishes. Kim, I know you did awesome!! I heard that it's a really good sign if you feel that the NCLEX was hard!
Jen, don't let anyone tell you the NCLEX is horrible, a nightmare, or other such devilish thing. I really believe it tests ones ability to apply nursing knowledge that one acquired during school. You have awhile before you take so don't fret yet . Enjoy your school time.

Piggy Bank Thanks everyone!
Hey all!

Thanks for all your support. I looked on my state's website last night at 3:30am and sure enough under my name it said Registered Nurse! I passed the NCLEX.
I'm so pleased and excited. I can't believe this day is finally here! I appreciate everyone here so much. I will never stop coming to the student board here no matter what. You are my peops!
