NCLEX 2/7/12

Took NCLEX-RN this morning. Completed the exam in 1 1/2 hours and shut off with 75! Got 23 SATA along with a couple drag/drops and dosages. I did the trick and got the pop up!!! Still skeptical as everyone else. All I want to do is jump up and down and celebrate but I don't wanna jump the gun. I know I got the last Q wrong and half way through I got a couple super easy Qs which added to my anxiety. Anyone else have this?

Also-I'm excited to finally get back to work! I participated in an internship during my last semester which essentially reduces your shadow time once you get licensed. It required signing a contract and the unit hires you upon graduation. Great program and I highly recommend others to take advantage!

I am in the same boat as you guys are. I took it yesterday and it shut off after 75 questions. I am getting the good popup and waiting to see if my license number shows up on the board of nursing website.

I took mine on 1/29 and did the same. I don't remember the exact number of SATA, I was too nervous to count, but I know it was at least in the 20's, a few drag and drop, a couple pictures, only one med calculation. I would be so happy to see a SATA question because I knew I was doing something right. But then I would get nervous when I answered a SATA and then it sent me to a regular multiple choice question. lol. Mine shut off at 75 questions too and I was in such shock I just sat there.

Did the PVT and got the good pop up within 10 minutes of leaving the testing room. My name was on the Texas Board of Nursing 2 days later, even before the quick results. Wooohooo!! Feels great!

I'm in Texas too!!! It's been 24 hours but I'm not sure if the board will update today. Heard they only update Tuesday/Thursday.

I had heard that too and took mine on a Tuesday and by the very following Thursday less than 48 hours later it was updated. So maybe for you, as soon as Tuesday. You'll definitely have the quick results before then though.

The pvt trick works. My license number was posted at 4 pm on the Ohio Board of Nursing site.
