Hi, I've been hanging out here for a while, reading about others' experiences w/ the nclex, and I've tried to be patient while I await for my results. I took my nclex the 18th of August and I still dont have my results.(I did the livescan fingerprinting back in June) I called the BON and they told me about a wk ago that they dont have my DOJ livescan report, so until then, they cant send my results. I scored really well on the predictor exam and finished w/ 75 questions but I walked out feeling very insecure. I'm anxious because I start to work next week on my IP, and I want to know before then if I passed. I'm very anxious and feel like I'm losing my mind.

I was told it takes about a week for the BON to get the livescan from whereever you got them done. Maybe you can call the place you got them done and see whats going on. I am so sorry you have to wait so long! I had to wait four days for my results (i took the test on a friday) and that was killer, i cant imagine what your going through.

I took the NCLEX RN in CA at the end of July and did not see my name on the BRN website for over 2 weeks (which was in August)! Then it took another week for my license to come in the mail. CA is really slow. I was told by the CA BRN that it depends who handles your case and how busy they are at the time. Someone who took it the same week as me found out in 5 days. I was sure I failed and the wait was killing me. But finally my name was posted. The wait is the worst. Wait another week and then call the BRN again. It could be a problem with your livescan or they could just be running behind. I hope this helps you and I'll say a prayer that you will hear soon.

Well, I' ve called everywhere to see what's going on. It seems like the DOJ hasnt sent in the necessary paperwork clearance yet, so that's where the hold up is. Meanwhile, I'll keep on waiting......and try to be optimistic, but this is just soooo hard on me.

Hey there, just wanted to let you know that I have the same exact problem. I took my test on August 7. I finally called about a week ago and the BON said that there was a problem with the DOJ, problem with my livescan. Just sit tight and wait for the results. Till then keep calling BON and ask for updates hopefully they'll be able to tell you if you passed or not... Good Luck!!!

A friend of mine from nursing school took the nclex june 12th and got her license sept 1st!!!!!!!!!! Supposedly her transcripts got lost in the mail, but they magically found them. I took my NCLEX June 29 and didnt find out if I passed until July 27th. The wait felt soooo long and overshadowed the exhilarating joy of graduation.
