My Computer Shut off at 85 Questions!! is that BAD!!!!!

Hello Nurses!!!!!

I took my LNV exam yesterday!!!!! I test was only on priority, patient teaching and assigments. My computer shut off at 85 questions. I left that testing center without hope, crying, feeling terrible. :crying2: I spoke to every person from my phone list and when i told them that my test stopped at 85, they all said that i had pass but that did not make me feel better....... But i asked them "do you know of anyone not passing and their test stopped at 85?" they all say no. But i honestly cannot tell you how i did on the test!

I dont know, i am going crazy not knowing. :o

Does anyone knows of any test taker stopping at 85 and not passing?

please let me know, should i start to creat a new stragety and pick up my books so i could prepare to take the test again!!!!

please i need some words of encouragements.............

Honestly you can pass with 85 in the same way as pass with 205. This is something that is so hard to predict but first timers usually pass by 85%

My test stopped at 87 in Oct. of last year and I was sure I had failed. I did not. I think you should be positive because chances are good that you passed. I live in Ohio and I just kept checking the Ohio Board of Nursings site where they list your license. It is so hard to wait for results. Keep yourself busy with friends or family until you get the results. :weathersunhot::icon_hug:Here's a good luck hug. Keep us posted.

i really thank all of you for your comments and this website, i did not know who to turn to. Taking this test for the first time has taken all of my energy and confidence. But all of your words make me feel better!!! I have 2 to 4 weeks to go to get my results since i live in California, but you will be the first to know.........

hey! i know exactly how your feeling. i took my test last friday and i felf the same way! i sat in the car and just cried for about 30min to myself before even leaving the parking lot! it is really nerve wreacking and were both on the same boat! but all i have to say is stay positive. i feel like i failed also. i stopped at 85, but every1 i know that stopped at 85 passed! but still theres that little bit that feels like you didnt do good enough, i know! and im thinking about just going back and reviewing everything now instead of waiting. but all my family and friends said "hard work pays off!" so hang in there!!! know that your not alone! =)

Thank you for that, i am really starting to put myself together again. I was talking to my sister in law, and i was just mentioning that i was going to start review my material again. i guess we really are on the same page!!!! thank you and GOOD LUCK to you too............;)

Just took nclex pn had 85 questions which 31 of them was select all. I am freaking out thinking I failed. So many say that if it shut off at 85 that is good and to have that many select alls, they were throwing hards ones at you. Please need some incite!! pass or fail???
