I was wondering what you guys are studying for Math. I am doing a quick review and everything is pretty straight forward. I hope I am not missing something. I have reviewed mg to mcg, flow rates, dopamine...Also, are math questions fill-in-the-blank?

i just took my nclex today and i had 10 math question that were all fill the blank. they were like this. ur pt in order lasix 2.5mcg/kg/min ur pt weights 150 lbs. the med is avaible 250mg/500ml. how many ml/hr will the pt get.

these were the craziest math questions i've ever seen!!!!

I just worked that problem out and got 20.45mL/hr. Does that sound right?

150/2.2= 68.18kg
0.0025mg * 68.18kg * 60 minutes= 10.227mg/hr
10.227mg/XmL = 250mg/500mL
X= 20.45mL so therefore 20.45mL/hr
