Life is good, Passed NCLEX

Hi fellow nursing students/grad's,

I passed nclex this past Sat. My lesson, there are no shortcuts.

As many others have said. The best thing I did was study through Saunders for content, 90% of the book+. Take their assessment and study the chapters they listed. Study Kaplans Strategy for their test. I don't know if I was really able to use their decision tree. On paper it sounds impressive but in the heat of Nclex it's hard to use it. Use all of the transmission precaution mnenomics. Study your basic categories of med's and the most common med's from each category.

Saunders questions were too easy, but still did @ 2,400 from CD. I did about 600 questions from Kaplan Q bank trainers and they helped just as much. That's the major part of what i did.

I honestly felt like I failed it a 2nd time but I think God took mercy on me and my family.
