Hey guys, I took the boards for the 3rd time yesterday and went all the way to 265. I remember my last question being a pediatric question but I don't know if that is considered difficult or not. I've heard people say that the last question determines your fate. I know I got this question right but I just don't know if it's considered above the passing level for 265. Can somebody give me some insight on this please? Oh and I can't try the trick because my records are on hold, my fingerprints didn't work at the testing site!

Yes I do believe that the final question would determine pass or fail, but it isn't as easy as if you get it right or not. If the final question is above the passing standard then you will pass no matter if you got it correct or not. If it is below then you would fail.

The catch is that you cannot determine if the question asked is above or below the passing standard, no one can really. What might be easy to you might be hard for me. So for what it's worth, don't make yourself crazy until you know one way or another.

The "on hold" status usually lasts 48-72 hours so keep checking for the PVT, if you like. If your state allows quick results then wait the 2 days and pay the 8.00 to find out. Please try to relax, don't frustrate yourself until you get some sort of results.

I hope everything works out for you.

what were your results?
