Kaplan's Qbank - Page 7
Register Today!- Feb 11, '11 by prettyinpink57And it's funny also cause last night I must have spent about 3 hours going through page after page after page on the pearson vue trick and reading everyone's experience with it and from what I read, it is 100% accurate!!!

Today has been awesome!!! It's so weird having a day off from everything! I went and got a cup of coffee and relaxed in the beautiful sun by the beach, got a pedicure, and got my car washed.
I love being done with this test!

And jen - Great job on QT 7!!!
thank you so much..
- Feb 11, '11 by chillcebQuote from noyesnoi got the "good" pop up!

the test took me 2 hours. i got 75 questions with about 25 select all that apply (torture!).
when i left the testing center and got into my car, "here comes the sun" (an acoustic version) came on the radio:
here comes the sun, here comes the sun,
and i say it's all right
little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and i say it's all right
i took the song as a good sign, went over to the panera that was within .2 miles of the testing center and did the pvt. the first two times i did the pvt, i got the "non-conclusive" pop up. i waited for a few minutes, tried it again and got the "good" pop up!
the worst part of this experience, for me, was the anticipation. i cried (two tears) this morning before i drove up to the testing center. when i got into the groove of the test, i was fine except for question 75. i sat on that question for about 15 minutes.
thanks everyone for your support, so much!
jenfos2 and chillceb, i'm rooting for you guys!
that's so sweet of you. thank you so much!!noyesno likes this. - Feb 11, '11 by Twinessa1YAY NOYESNO!!!!!!! I'm so proud of you!!! I can't wait to hear the official results!!!noyesno likes this.
- Feb 11, '11 by chillcebQuote from prettyinpink57congratulations!!! good luck to ur official result..CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

That is exactly what happened to me!!!! When I got to my school the pop-up originally said something like with like "current test results" or something I don't know.... But when I came back and tried like half hour later, it was the good pop up!! I think what that meant was that the test/results were still pending and getting finalized. Now the waiting game is on till we both see our names on the BRN website!!! I'm in San Diego, California though and our state doesn't do the "quick results" so who knows how long it will take! I am hoping to see my name up there by Tuesday morning at the latest!!
What state are you in noyesno?? I am so proud of you!!!!!! It's so funny cause when I woke up this morning I some how had this insane memory of a lot of my questions and looked up stuff and found out that I guessed right on a lot of them
Mostly it was the 1,000 medication questions I got that I remembered haha.noyesno likes this. - Feb 11, '11 by m2theRZA@prettyinpink57 and @noyesno -- congrats on passing the nclex!!!!!! must be such a HUGE relief to finally get this test done and over with and officially be an RN!
I was wondering...did you guys feel that the kaplan Qbank questions were similar to the NCLEX Q's?? I'm slightly freaking out since you guys mentioned a LOT of SATA's...(25?!?!??)-- I am absolutely horrible at those and almost always get them wrong!
taking mine in a week from today. any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks and hope you guys get to relax and/or celebrate this weekend
(@prettyinpink57- i am also in so cal and the weather is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend!)

I wish I could give you an example of one but they made us sign a confidentiality thing when we took the test. For me, the SATA's were the easiest part of the exam because they were very basic. However, a lot of my questions that I got were like them picking a RANDOM drug and asking something about the drug. Actually, I even had a lot of questions that gave me 4 patient's needing 4 different medications and I had to pick the patient/med that the nurse should see and give FIRST, AHHH talk about hard priority! I thought the staff at Pearson Vue was GREAT and definitely made me feel so comfortable walking in there. The 2 ladies working were very kind and encouraging.

Let me know if you have any more questions, I'm sure you'll do great on the NCLEX! - Feb 11, '11 by chillcebQuote from prettyinpink57finally the test is over for you.. have u tried the pvt? or did u pass already?Hey sasagrrrl!
