    I see there are multiple versions, the most current being most expensive. Is it worth it saving the money for a 2008 or 2009 book

    Yes, you should buy the most recent version. The reason is that nursing practice, standards, and medications change frequently. It's possible that the older version of Kaplan will have content and questions that are no longer accurate and can steer you in the wrong direction.

    Spring for the more expensive version, and after you pass the NCLEX resell it. Also check amazon.com, eBay, and abebooks.com for used versions which can be less expensive.
