kaplan or Hurst- PLEASE help

by kcarver

Ok I have heard that Kaplan is better with stragety and hurst is better with content the problem is I feel like I need both. I feel like I need a good review of the content but would also benefit from the testing strategies since we all know no matter how much we know we are still not going to know half of what they are asking on the test. Does anyone have any suggestions or have taken both and which do you prefer? I HAVE TO pass this time!!!

I believe Kaplan have great strategies and it should work for most people. Strategies alone will not do it. I think the NCLEX is like life: the most exposure to different things the better.

TAKE BOTH. I took both and passed the 1st time just recently. Hurst is great for content and Kaplan is excellent for practicing the questions. I don't know if I would have passed with just one of them. The combined effect of both of them did it for me. Do both if you can.

Good luck!
