Kaplan Course Book vs Saunders for NCLEX RN

Which do you think is better? I have the Kaplan course book (friend gave it to me) but have never used it. Do you think it'll be helpful enough for me to use as a study tool for NCLEX or do you feel the Saunders book is better. I will be using in conjunction with Hurst

The Saunders book is better for content review I feel. I'm currently studying for the NCLEX using the Kaplan course and following their 5 week study plan (doing qbanks and question trainers etc) and studying the content from their book and then using Saunders to study the stuff I find myself weakest on more in-depth.

I feel like the Kaplan book gives you an idea of what type of questions are asked and gives you strategies on how to answer them. It doesn't really give you any content review. It more or less tells you what you need to know, but doesn't really go into detail on the topics. I've just been skimming the Kaplan and then going through the questions at the end of each chapter. The questions are good to go through, but any nclex type questions will help. If you need more of a content review, then Saunders will be best. The chapters are small and there are tons of questions. If there is any way that you could get your hands on the ATI Nclex review book, I think that it's another great option. It's about 1/3 of the size of Saunders, but it's all content review. There are no questions in it, but if all you need is a refresher, this book is great. Our school did all the ATI throughout the program, so we got it for free, along with a 3 day review from one of the ATI instructors at the end of the program.
