Does anyone take the review classes from kaplan? I'm from Germany and I need to take those courses because the Exam here is a lotmore different then the one in Germany!
But the Kaplan Program is 600 Dollars and I would like to know if its worth it all that money?

hey jenny,iam from germany too.and took kaplan too.. is good but the classes helps u only to lern how to answer the Qs nothing else,but the books,cd and Q-bank are very helpfull

Did you passed the NC-LEX Examn at the first time? And how long did you prepare for it? How long do you work in the US and where?
I wan tto do the preparation thats the best for me, it doenst matter how much it cost! I have no workexperience, so I guess it will be much harder, or?

When did you take the Exam?

i just had my test april 12.....for the first time,still waiting for my result,,dont know yet if i passed but i thing i did not.....i do not have work experience either sooo wir sind in im gleichen boat....are u in california?welche ecke von germany kommst du her?

Nein, ich bin in North Carolina! Mein CGFNS ist durch und naechste Woche erfahre ich vom Nursing Board ob ich noch klassen brauche oder gleuch das NC-LEX machen kann!
I'm from east Germany (Thueringen), ca. 20 minutes from Erfurt and I'm now 18 months here in the US! I have great hostfamily and the best boyfriend!
How long did you prepare for the Exam? Was is very hard?

ich habe mein att(authorization to test)seit mai 2005,und seit dem mit ein paar monate pause zwischen lerne ich.....it is hard because i did not attend any english classes,had my dictionary all the time next to me i married my husband from Los angeles thats why iam here now since 2003 ,came pregnant have a douther 2 and half years old und das leben hier war fuer mich sehr gewoehnungbeduerftig,aber jetzt hab ich mich eingelebt

I will write you an E-Mail in the next days when I have a lil bit time!
I will find out this week if I have to take more classes or can go and do the NC-LEX! It seems much harder, but why do people fail like 4 times or more? I dont understand that!
I hope Kaplan will help me and I can pass it after the first time!
