The proctor doesn't know if you failed or not.

Hang in there and good luck

Thank you all for being there for me in my moment of anxiety.I got my result online 2days after I took the test and I PASSED. I remain very grateful to God. To all who are still awaiting their results, this is my encouragement to you: do not let anxiety kill you like it almost did to me, just hand everything over to God,relax and expect a pass and to all who are yet to take the test; take time to study, confidently take the exam and leave the rest to God and to those who were not fortunate enough to jump the hurdle, please don't kill yourself and don't give up rather do all that is in your power to do and leave the rest to God.I am proud to be a member of this great forum.Bye

Just curious...all the NCLEX prep books I have say that if it shuts off at 75 you passed...as you answer each question, it determines what question to give you next based on your answer being wrong or right...once it determines that you can answer questions to their satisfaction, it will shut the test off....

The test shuts off whenever it determines with 95% accuracy that you have preformed consistently above the minimum needed to pass or below to fail. Therefore if it shuts off at 75 it can mean that you either answered enough questions correctly consistently to pass or gotten enough incorrect consistently to fail. It doesn't necessarily mean that you automatically fail or that you automatically pass because the number of questions that you get on the test does not matter.
