I FAILED again for the 2nd time, this is getting so frustrating. Not sure if I can go through all this again, all those nights revising, doing on line tests. thing what gets me is when doing the Mosby's computer adaptive test I was testing out at 94%, so where did I go wrong? How many times can you actually resit the nclex? I heard its 3 times for any state, then you have to undertake a training program is that correct? I live in the UK and am desperate to get to the states, anyone else out there in the same boat as me?

hi cheeca! im sori to hear that...dont give up...you sacrificed alot to get that degree you just have to fight for it whatever it takes....im a newbie with regards to nclex what i know is you can have a retake as long as you want,,,some states it takes 8 retakes from there i dont know what happens next...you may visit the NCSBN website and look for FAQ you might find some answers to your questions...i just took my NCLEx and my anxiety is killing me...im all stressout waiting for the result... just dont give up okey? GOD is good He will surely help you fullfill your dreams...have faith in you,,,you can make it...

The rules for retaking the NCLEX vary from state to state. I'm really surprised that you failed after doing so well on the practice tests. Did you have overwhelming anxiety on test day?

Suzanne is a moderator on this forum. She offers a study plan using a book called Saunders Comprehensive Review. She has a very high success rate. The information is located at the top of the forum page.

The number of times that you can take the NCLEX varies from state to state. For example, in my state, Nevada, I can only take it three times. However, I can go next door to California and take it as many times that I need to in order to pass.

hi Eric... No I went in there all relaxed thinking this time I will pass for sure, I admit I did a few questions about 4 in total that i basically did not know the answer too, but thats about all.

Hi there, I've still to sit the exam (waiting for ATT), but I can recommend saunders and suzannes program. I think it's difficult to study when you're doing it on your own so it helps to have a plan and direction from someone. I hope you get lucky next time, I just want it over and done with cos I feel as if thats all I think about lately

I failed also the 2nd time, but now I'm looking forward for the 3rd time!!! Don't give up!!! I can understand your position, I thought comletly the same way, but now your are so close for your success.....

take your time to calm down, make some plans for a nice weekend, and than start again with all these books and test's.......

my fingers are crossed for you!!!

Did you read Saunders NCLEX book and Kaplan NCLEX book..You should get those books

Here is a question for you all...

How can you pass nursing school and fail the NCLEX?? Is it THAT HARD?? You would think if one was a good nursing student, you'd do fine on the test. Now I am scared!! E
