Just got back from taking the test and....

I think I totally failed the test. I've heard about the feelings you feel when the computer shuts off on you and you leave not knowing you did well or not, but to experience it first hand is very very very very hard.

I'm struggling right now to even type this out, and to keep myself from crying.

The computer shut off after I answered the 90th question (which I think is bad right there). I had 2 calculations, a lot of pt. teaching questions, some priority, lots of communication questions. Some ob, some psych, some medsurg, I had a few questions (more than I liked) of pharm.

I'm so scared, because I've been reading the types of questions others have gotten and their computer shut off at like 75...........I'm freakin' out here and I'm not even sure I want to know whether I passed or failed. Also wondering if the posts I've been reading weren't mostly about the NCLEX-RN, which wasn't what I was taking, I took the NCLEX-PN.

I felt like I didn't study at all.

I'm so scared.

Try to stay calm ok! Don't cry. Well the NCLEX-PN is 85 questions minimum and the NCLEX-RN is 75 questions minimum. So you took the PN and it shut of at 90 right? Well, when I took the NCLEX, when it was over I felt just like you did, my computer stopped at the MINIMUN 85, and all I could think about were the question that I knew that I answered wrong. I left the building and sat in my car for a daze not know how to feel. Two days later I found out that I passed. So try to keep a positive attitude! GOOD LUCK and let us know!

I just took the NCLEX-PN last Monday. I had a lot of the same questions as you did. I was getting quite panicky in the middle of the test. I left feeling quite depressed and told everyone I believed I failed it. It was very hard. Today I found out I had passed it. I couldn't believe it. I was in shock! A friend of mine took hers today and I called to see how she felt. She felt the same. I had only 85 questions when it shut off on me. Keep you head up. I know it is hard since I, too, just went through it. Good luck, hugs, Shell
