Hi everyone! Any January 2018 test takers? I took mine yesterday from 2pm-7pm. I'm pretty sure I bombed. I did not feel confident, had a headache halfway through, and walked out of there feeling... Read More

Hi! Is this applicable to all states? Even for foreign nurses? Thanks

I sat for NCLEX on Jan. 8, scheduled at 2pm but was able to start around 1:30. Closed off at 75 and had the research questions. I finished within an hour or so. I had probably 15-20 SATA. I didn't feel too good about the exam. I thought for sure I failed it. I didn't do the PVT because I wanted a definite pass/fail answer. I stumbled across continental testing after 24 hours and I found I passed. Still had to pay the quick result though to really confirm and I really did pass!

    Used Uworld exclusively to study.

PVT works! I passed too! Took the exam yesterday and my Board of Nursing has my license number today. Congratulations everyone that passed. And for those who failed, don't give up!

I am in California. Took my test on 1/9 morning...feeling bad but still did the PVT afterward. It showed a good pop up sign. It's been the fourth day after my test but still not knowing my result. Which website did you check your result? I tried https://www.breeze.ca.gov/ but it showed "Internal Sever Error" for 2 days already....I am just freaking out about that....Are you guys able to go into that website?

    Hi all.

I just took my test on Jan 10th. The test shut off at 76 questions. Did the PVT and got the "good pop up". However, I wasn't convinced and my state (Texas) is super slow about updating the board. So I paid for the unofficial results and I passed!

I did Uworld questions (about 75 per day) for about 2 months. I got a "very high" chance of passing on all my assessment quizzes. I averaged 65% on all my quizzes.

I took my NCLEX exam on January 9th, and I found out yesterday I passed! It was my second time to take the NCLEX, first time I failed at 81 questions last July 2017. But this time around I passed it at 265 questions in 5.5hrs. I also did the PVT 12 hours post my exam, I received the "good pop up", but wasn't really convinced that I really pass. So I had to wait for 48hrs in order for me to do the quick results to find out if I truly did pass or not. And thank God, I passed!

I used UWorld, Lacharity, and the Kaplan book that had like 265 questions in it. I focused on the rationales (especially the ones in UWorld). When i took my exam there were questions that were so similar to the ones that were in Uworld.

To those who has taken it and passed, congrats to all of you! To those who are about to take it pretty soon, just stay focus and understand those rationales really well!

I just logged in so it should be all good now

I received my license in the mail today, which makes it 10 days after I took the test (just fyi for my fellow californians). I was expecting weeks and weeks of waiting.

Whats up guys. First of all im in California.

I took the nclex pn on January 4th and my buddy as well. I finished the test at 85 took me 2 hours an 20 mins to finish. I felt super lifeless after that test. I didn't know what to feel. I felt like i had no emotion. I felt like I knew 95% of content on the test but if i chose the right answers is another thing. I got around 30 SATA, 5 order questions, 5 exhibits, and a lot of priority questions. I don't think I bombed the test but I dont feel like i knocked it out the park either.

After finishing the test within 2 hours i received the Pearsons email to check quick results within 48 hours. FYI California doesnt do the quick results so now I am stuck waiting in purgatory for these results. I tried the PVT trick 5 times in 2 days and got the good pop up all the time. I keep checking the Cal Breeze website for license search and still nothing. When I did the log in on the Breeze webstie I see Vocational Nurse file # but no license info at all. All i can do is wait now.
Following up on my previous post. I received the DCA letter saying congratulations On thursday Jan 12. I emmediately paid the $150.00 license fee and they said the nursing board of california should update within the next 2 days. Should be updated by Monday Jan 15.

The PVT still does work but apparently the NCSBN site is really slow and is not showing results. So just wait for the letter n the mail. IT took a week for mine to come in.

    Good luck all!

THe PVT is pretty accurate. It worked for me and some people I know who tested this past week. THe breeze website does work for me. Try another computer or your cell phone and create a log in account. THE NCSBN site is slow to update test results apparently.
