Re: Ive got a study plan...and it does NOT include failing!
I just had to respond because the title of your post made me laugh!
I wish I had some great secret to tell you that will help you pass, but I don't. I studied the way everyone on here advised -- tons of practice questions. I used the Saunders book and disc, and enrolled in the three week NCSBN online course. When I heard that lots of people were getting questions about infection control and priority, I concentrated on those topics the week before I took the NCLEX. And they were right, at least 1/3 of my questions were priority or infection control.
Good luck on your next time around. | | No. 2 |

Re: Ive got a study plan...and it does NOT include failing! i failed my first time and developed this study plan with just using the saunders book. Aside from this i am doing kaplan and lacharity with saunders questions (100 a day) from the CD. Its really helping me, cause i needed to brush up on some of my content. i have posted this on here and a few other people are using it and think its helping them. of course you would need to change the days, i just made a calender for us and at the end of the day after we have read our material we get online and discuss it and quiz each other. Re: Ive got a study plan...and it does NOT include failing!
i dont know when you failed but i made myself take like 4 or 5 days off just to recover and to lift my spirits back up. then i started slowly getting back into content review like 2-3 hrs a day going through mosby, prentice hall, and saunders. now im getting focusing on questions, kaplan, saunders, and am thinking of doing ncsbn. i also got the delegation, prioritization book and i like it! goodluck! we can do it! have you set your second test date yet?? i get my new att july 14th and am hoping to retest the end of august with success!
