Re: I'm so stressed over NCLEX
SWEETMYA--
What helped me was to relate the disease or whatever to something familiar, for example my mother has hypothyroidism, so i would think of her and her symptoms if the question came up on the test..iw uld say "what does my mom have..." i would think of situations where i encountered the disease on either a person i knew or saw in the hospital (even though they say DONT use real world experiences for the NCLEX) i think, pt with those conditions are ok to use because there is no different "interpretation", a person with cushings disease in california is the same for someone in florida..
if no one fits the disease, then as you study..just imagine, for example cushings disease i imagine the sat puff marshmellow man , obese in the middle with thinner extremities..that kinda thing, whateve works for you
Hope i could help,
and GOOD LUCK !!!
