If you fail, how long does it take to get your notice in the mail?

Until she gets her results it is hard to predict whether she has passed or failed. Which BON is it and has she tried contacting them to make sure there are no problems with her application?

you should tell your friend to do the pearson trick. it is kinda like a probable sign of passing, kinda like in pregnancy. a definite sign would be your friends name on the BRN site or the letter and license in the mail.

basically you log onto your pearson acct and try to re register to take the test again, and if it blocks you from the payment page most likely she has passed. it will say "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." however if it lets her go all the way to the payment page then she has failed. details and all the people that confirmed the trick are in this thread... hope this helps...

can i vent now? so i took my test JULY 1st in california it is now JULY 7th, it has been 6 VERY long days. everyday since i have been checking the CA BRN for my name and it does not appear. as each day passes my confidence has slowly but surely diminished. however when i do the pearson trick it does not allow me to go to the payment page, and this has helped ease some of my anxiety... so hopefully it is just paperwork that needs to be addressed and that is the reason for the hold up... argh!!! 6 days is just pure torture, CA should participate in the quick results service!!! especially if they are gonna take this long... just wanted to vent...

Thanks justwannagrad for the info about the Pearson Vue trick. I also called them and they said that CA doesn't participate in Quick Result. I have taken NCLEX several times now. Ugh! And from my experience, it always takes 2 weeks before my result come in the mail. Oh, vicky, is your friend from CA?
