If I May Ask

by RNKay31

what do the stateboard send to you, when you fail, do they send you a break down of the areas you do well or poor in, ps let me know, of do they just tell you you fail. And how soon do you get your letter when you fail, do you get it before the ones who pass?

Hi, raremoon...I remembered seeing that post, and thinking it was odd that someone would be sitting for NCLEX and still have classroom assignments due...? Obviously we all have to have graduated for some time before sitting for NCLEX. The post on 7/13 said something about an informative speech for the following Monday....two days after NCLEX? Is this unrelated to your degree?

As far as the notification goes, you'll get a letter that tells you you did not pass, and will include a Performance Report. That will outline areas of strength and weakness so you can better prepare for the next exam.

I don't know how quickly it comes.

It's so ridiculous that someone do not have any consolation for how the person is feeling, than to copy and post their past post, what are we nurses coming too?

Kayla, I'm sure that you're upset about failing NCLEX so maybe you're feeling a little thin-skinned at the moment. Truly, there wasn't anything sinister about her getting clarification. Relax...take some time to unwind and get your mind off the NCLEX for a few days.

You should get a breakdown of your weak areas from them so that you can concentrate your studies and improve in those areas. Not sure regarding the time of arrival, though?? Actually, if you look at this logically and without emotion (hard, I'm sure) you'll have an advantage. You have already sat thru the test...the testing procedure is now familiar. You'll have an idea of what to study. You know the kind of questions you'll see again. See what I mean??
