I think I failed...

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. I've been reading all of your messages to eachother and I thought I should join.

I just took my NCLEX on 12/1/06 for the third time. No results still. Nothing on CA BON and nothing in the mail. I took 265 questions the first and second time, and the third time I tested 110~ish.

I called the CA BON to make sure that they had all my files complete. Then the person I was speaking with had told me that the result letter was printed on the 12/05/06 but has not been mailed yet.

Basically, my name isn't on the BON site, and they printed out a letter which has not been mailed out, SO I THINK I FAILED.... What should I do?

I'm gonna go with the old standby here: expect the worst, pray for the best. I can definitely understand your anxiety, but I don't think anything you've posted necessarily means you failed...you just don't know yet.

I guess if it was me, I'd start studying again for the test (again, I have NO REASON to think you didn't pass)...that way when you get the results, you can either throw your study materials up in the air, or take some comfort in the fact that at least you started studying for the next time.

Good luck - keep us posted!

It's not over until it's over. Don't give up hope until you have the results in hand. I have read on here of people in CA finding out they passed 2 weeks later. Best of luck to you.

dont loose hope. hang in there. i too have taken the test last saturday Dec 9,2006. and i had answered the max question the computer can ask. as much as i wanna think i failed, which i think i am since the test bombarded me with drugs that i dont even know they exists!!!!, i still know that there will be next time. altho i hope i did a lil better and hope i pass the 1st try.

just wanna ask as well, can a BSN grad take an NCLEX-PN instead of RN? And how it can be done? and does anyone pass answering all 265 questions?

all im doing at the moment is become positive and be busy with other stuff than thinking about the result:P

Goodluck

You have to apply for the LPN/LVN license, just as you did for the RN license.

Hi everyone!! i also took the test last Nov.25, and until now i haven't recieved the result yet.....

I hope i passed....heheheheeee!! Be positive!! Because i heard some cases that they already recieved the result by mail, and they PASSED, but they are not in the system yet....well....never lose HOPE!! Anyways there's still next time...heheheee

good luck!! and god bless us all!!

Thank you guys for all the support, I don't know how much that makes me feel better. I am just discouraged because of the past two times I failed...... I will let you guys know when I find out the results.

I know how hard it is,most especially if your taking it for the nth time. But life must go on.If you feel that you failed then study again (thou it's really hard ).But that's the only way we cud do rather than giving up.Whatever results wud be,just be prepared and thank god you've come this far.Goodluck...

Just wanna let you know guys, that i passed!! God is Great and that's all i can say!!
