I passed NCLEX-RN!!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi! I want to thank everyone who helped me in this website. You guys are the best! I'm a foreign graduate and took nclex the first try last May 17 and had 3 months to study before my big day. The only review course I'm using was Kaplan online review, Saunders and exam cram. This 3 helped me understand the concept on how to take the test. In my opinion, Kaplan was very helpful! I find the nclex similar to their questions or even kaplan was harder than nclex. They are really good in preparing you for your test. I took all their test my scores are the following: Diagnostic test: 46% Q1: 47% Q2:55% Q3: 53% Q4:543% Q5:57% Q6:56% Q7:54% Readiness test: 60% Qbank average: 53% As what you've noticed I only got 60% once! The key is to read rationale, right down notes and read it often. Also, PRAYERS!! I told my family and some close friends that I'm taking the test and would really appreciate if they include me in their prayers! I guess prayers really move mountains, so PRAY!! From this experience, I've learned to never ever give up on your dreams and not by any means doubt on yourself!! Believe and stay positive!!

"DIFFICULT DOESN'T MEAN IMPOSSIBLE. IT SIMPLY MEANS THAT YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD."

congratulations. i will be taking mine soon

@positive vibes

It was hard!!. I got a lot of questions about diet, sata types question, prioritizarion and pharmacology.. I kinda panicked at diet questions because I learned from my review that if you get an easy questions (like diet), your score is going below average. *I'm in doubt though.

Middle of my exam I really felt so defeated and it scared the **** out of me! But then a good voice kept whispering to inside my brain "it's too early too give up". Question stopped at 75. I felt I failed!!! I almost cry too right after I left the building. But my brain's just too exhausted to do that..

Any way,

I did the PVT! And got the "good popup"!!!

God is so gooooooodddd!!

Congratulations!!! Job well done! ;-)

I wish the best of luck! ;-)

Where did you hear about diet questions being the easy ones? I'm just curious. Lol. I'm so glad that you passed. I'm still studying for my mid june d-day

That's what the coach on the review class I attended 2 years ago said me.

Diet, computations, anatomy, definitions, or any straight forward questions are in the easy category. Because we do not need to analyze or do critical thinking.. I don't know how true is this. They also said sata types are in the high category.

Congratulations. I couldn't help but notice the way you concluded your write up. Seems you are from Nigeria.

English is just my secondary language. But no.not from nigeria

I am so sorry for the late reply! For somereason i couldnt send you a PM. New Mexico is one of the compact states compatible with Texas. I think it should be able to work. However i know that texas requires their nurses to complete the Jurisprudence exam, which is free, open book, but timed. Thats all the info I think is correct. Feel free to contact the Texas BON. Theyre really friendly and helpful! Hope this helps!

Congrats!!!
