I passed NCLEX-RN!!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi! I want to thank everyone who helped me in this website. You guys are the best! I'm a foreign graduate and took nclex the first try last May 17 and had 3 months to study before my big day. The only review course I'm using was Kaplan online review, Saunders and exam cram. This 3 helped me understand the concept on how to take the test. In my opinion, Kaplan was very helpful! I find the nclex similar to their questions or even kaplan was harder than nclex. They are really good in preparing you for your test. I took all their test my scores are the following: Diagnostic test: 46% Q1: 47% Q2:55% Q3: 53% Q4:543% Q5:57% Q6:56% Q7:54% Readiness test: 60% Qbank average: 53% As what you've noticed I only got 60% once! The key is to read rationale, right down notes and read it often. Also, PRAYERS!! I told my family and some close friends that I'm taking the test and would really appreciate if they include me in their prayers! I guess prayers really move mountains, so PRAY!! From this experience, I've learned to never ever give up on your dreams and not by any means doubt on yourself!! Believe and stay positive!!

Congratulations on passing!!!:)

Thank you, browneyes344! :-)

This is the reason I like coming here, for these kinds of wonderful, inspiring stories. Not some mother who neglects her daughter only to come here for some kind of sympathy.

Great job positivevibes(like the name too). I will be seating the exam a year from now.

Thank you C.A.S.! :-) Yes, being positive is one of the ultimate perception when you encounter hardships in life. I'm glad you were inspired. Good luck on your future test! stay positive! :-)

It's alright to be anxious after the test! I even cry after the test coz I thought I failed! Lol!! How did you go with the test? I guess it's pretty accurate! I got a good pop up after the test. Try the PVT trick! :-)

Thank you Sadie16! My advice for you is to really know your content & be a safe and effective nurse in every question you encounter. I got 10 SATA. I finished at 115. Good luck on your test!!

@positive vibes

It was hard!!. I got a lot of questions about diet, sata types question, prioritizarion and pharmacology.. I kinda panicked at diet questions because I learned from my review that if you get an easy questions (like diet), your score is going below average. *I'm in doubt though.

Middle of my exam I really felt so defeated and it scared the **** out of me! But then a good voice kept whispering to inside my brain "it's too early too give up". Question stopped at 75. I felt I failed!!! I almost cry too right after I left the building. But my brain's just too exhausted to do that..

Any way,

I did the PVT! And got the "good popup"!!!

God is so gooooooodddd!!
