I passed NCLEX-PN this past Saturday!!!!

Thank you! I studied from Saunder's NCLEX book...we had to buy the 4th edition then. Our school required the ATI tutoring program, but I didn't learn anything about how to answer questions from it. The best thing I did was read some reviews from people who had taken the NCSBN program. I was told they are the group that has the questions for NCLEX submitted to them and tested. Don't know the validity of that. But I will tell you that I learned more about how to answer a question from their program. At the point you are in when you finish school, it's time to just brush up on anything you had a problem remembering, (Mine was acidosis vs. Alkadosis. I had to look over ROME. Respiratory Opposite Metabolic Equal) and values. I spent alot of time on drug classifications, too. What I loved about NCSBN is that it is affordable (my three week review was $50.) and it had whatever timeline you had to work with available, such as 15 weeks or 3.

Someone asked me when did I start studying: I began while I was in school. Our dean said something I did not forget: she said if we wanted to pass NCLEX the first time, at night after class, go over the subject matter in Saunders. So, I did that. And went through every question eventually. I did maybe 4,000 questions and rationales. I gave it a full 8 week intensity on the NCSBN program. I'd post a link, but I don't think we are supposed to.
