    Congrats to you sir/ma'am, I have questions though, i'm a new grad, I have my auntie in US(florida) asking me if I already took nclex, obviously I havent and as of now I dont have hospital experience post-grad, should I take nclex? what are your suggestions? Thank you

    Yes of course you should take your nclex, that's the only way you can practicing being an RN.

    I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you saying since you graduated you have not worked anywhere to gain experience prior to taking the NCLEX? If that is yes, that's not quite how it is done here. In the U.S. you sit for the exam, pass it, then find a job. In some states you would be recognized as a Graduate Nurse and be able to work while waiting to take the NCLEX.

    I had my exam March 18th. I got the "good pop-up" but I am not sure I trust that. I need to see something that says I passed, lol. I would say focus on priority patients and teaching. I had a boatload of those questions. The majority of the test is Management of Care so make sure you are at least efficient in that. Good luck to you, you will do great.

    In Texas, you can work as a graduate nurse while waiting to take the exam. Some people say it helps to be in the acute care setting prior to testing, others say it doesn't make much of a difference. If your state honors a GN permit then do what you feel is best.
