well just received my att today! and tentatively scheduled for sept 2! 3 weeks from today! the day i conquer the test! was originally planning a week before but i guess this allows me any extra time i need to study! any tips for these final 3 weeks? im finally feeling confident! took qt4 and got a 61!

Good for you!! Im praying for you!! I know you will pass!!!!!Wow you did GREAT on Qtrainer 4. Good job!!!! The last few tips I can give you is do as many priority questions as you can. I would do the sample test questions that qbank has to offer. They have three sample tests, and one test has 30 questions, which are all priority based. Those will really help you. I would also do some teaching questions, as teaching is another major component of the nclex. And last but not least, I would skim through the major body systems and do content only for the last 3 -4 days before the exam. Because, although i passed with 75, it doesnt mean that all questions are application and analysis, I had so many content based questions, such as asking for signs and symptoms of disease processes. So the nclex is testing our ability to delegate, prioitize, teach, pharmacology, and nursing content related questions. Good luck!!!!! If you have any other questions, just ask!

Thanks chokiez00! As per your question on drag and drop, you have to arrange the steps in order.. they might ask u for example.. what is the other of doing a dressing change? and they will give you series of steps which are all scrambled and you have to use your mouse / cursor and put the steps in correct order from what you do first to what you do last.. hope this helps.

2bNurse4life4ever Congrats! I failed on my first test this past saturday. I have given my self the week off but got all of my BON paperwork and pearson vue in so that I can reschedule as soon as they let me. I have the ATI review, saunders book, cant forget the free NCLEX 3500 that Im going to do 265 questions each time and just purchased the Lacharity book. I was so tired by the time I got to the 250th question I dont even think UI was thinking clearly. On top of that I never took any break. BIG MISTAKE!! My biggest issue the first time around was my nerves. I have never been a good test taker and always tend to second guess myself. I have been trying very hard to not change an answer and go with my gut because an instructor once told me there is a reason that answer is coming to you in the first place go with it. Im actually excited about retesting because there is something very strong telling me it will be different this time. Im going to sit down sunday night and work out my study plan so that I start monday. Heres hoping I can post the same thing you did!

nrcolee6: I will be pulling for you and sending all the positive vibes I have your way. Quick question how long was it from the time you failed till you got your ATT to retest? I know we can do this. WE didnt make it thru nursing school for nothing. Just gotta keep the nerves in check go in there and do the damn thing So that we can walk out of there as . Let me know how things go and if you have any study tips I would appreciate it. I should be able to retest middle of september.
