I Passed!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I just wanted to let everyone know that I passed the NCLEX this time around! The first time I took the NCLEX, I failed with 265 questions. Now, having used Hurst Review, I passed with 75 questions! I also used a modified version of Suzannes plan to personalize it with my style of studying. I found Hurst Review to be fantastic! I took Kaplan the first time and found it overwhelming. I didn't connect with its style and ultimately failed the test. With thier money back guarantee, I was able to get a full refund from Kaplan. I therefore used that money towards Hurst Review and it was worth every penny! I recommend it to others, even those who are just getting ready to start nursing school. I found the review to be personable and the vast knowledge of information was presented in a manageble and comprehendable way! I recommend it tenfold!

I also found that confidence was one of the key differences between taking the test the first time and this time around. Attitude plays a huge role, as I have learned, when taking this test. Hang in there for others who are studying for the test and remember that understanding why things happen is more important than memorizing the facts. There is just too much to memorize, and under great pressure in the test situation coupled with test anxiety, memorization can fail you. With understanding why things happen, I learned to reason what the answer is and why one answer is better than the other correct answer.

Thank you all for your support and good luck to others who are waiting for thier test results or are studying to take the test soon. I know it will be a challenge, but believe in yourself! I am certain that if not for allnurses.com and the resources you all have offered, I would not have passed the test! So, again, thank you all for your support!
