I Passed With 106 Questions!

Wow. I'm an RN!

I had 106 questions, mostly pharmacology, priority, interventions for patho processes, and patient education. NO calculation questions, which are my favorite things to do. One alternate question...the select all that apply.

It took about 2.5 hours to from start to finish (including one restroom break I took).

I was the last person to finish out the group of NCLEX test takers. Dead last...I did go slow when taking it. So order of finishing and number of questions does not say anything.
I was just thankful I didn't have the 265 questions.

I honestly did not study much. From the time I graduated on the 12th until the 18th when I took the exam. I found it to be boring and tedious. But when I did study I used Mosby and Saunders. I did take the Kaplan class as a requirement for nursing school.

Boy, it's finally over!

Now to find that job...
(And no, I didn't work as a GN before boards).

Good Luck to those preparing to take the exam!

Thanks! And Jess you'll do wonderful!

Pharm questions...I had most over the indications for meds. They were all random meds, respiratory and cardio are some categories I remember. I believe one question was on side effects...it was a random drug but reading the stem of the question and seeing what the drugs purpose is was helpful. It was a ust kinda thinking it through thing for those random ones...
