I lost

Yesterday I found out that I had failed on my first try for my NCLEX-RN.I cried honestly, but after that kind of inspired me to work hard on this again,I shouldn't underestimate it at all.Anyway,I'm going to resit it soon, but I have some questions about how to registered for this exam, coz the first time I went through an agency when I was in China, but currently I'm here in Unite State, also last time I applied for New Mexico nursing board, but this time I want to apply for New York Nursing board coz I want to work there,I heard of this nursing board request CGFNS certificate for foreign nurses who were educated outside Unite State before apply for the board exam,so,what am I gonna to do now,get CGFNS first?Or resit for New Mexico again, the agency told me it gonna to take long time to evaluate my education for New York Board,is that ture?He said it's the same to get licensure first and transfer to another board, but just need some times..I dont know, looking for some advice.

Thank you

Sorry to hear you failed, good for you to not give up. The BON should send you some paperwork one which will give you a breakdown of your exam and another will be forms you need to complete for resit. All foreign nurses have to do CVS for NY even if endorsing their license, no way round it and it does take over 6 months to go through the process. What visa are you in the US with?

There is no way at the moment that you can adjust your visa and stay in the US working even if you pass NCLEX and meet licensure requirements. Do not expect the opening for AOS for many years. You will have to stay either as a student or return home. Stick with NM as they have already assessed your file and the wait to resit does not take long.
