I Had 205 Questions On My Nclex!!

Updated Feb 25, 2008 at 06:17 PM by TheCommuter

HI EVERYONE.
I recieved 205 questions on my NCLEX and most of my questions were priority questions. I did recieve about 20-25 med and about 5 choose all that apply. I recieved a bunch of OB and PED questions. In fact, most priority questions were OB and PED. I am now panicking because I studied Saunders and it seemed quiet easy to me as it got closer to my testing day. Although as soon as I got there, the environment kind of freaked me out. I had to read each question about 6-7 times until I could finalize my answer. I was there for four hours!!! What do you guys think? Any hope for me?? Im about 95% sure that I didnt pass. Anyone out there who didn't pass with 205 questions?

The amount of questions doesn't mean much, really. People pass with 75 questions and people fail with 75 questions. Same with 250 questions (or is it 260? I forget).

Just relax. I don't know about where you live, but I found out the next day by looking up myself on the state's Board of Nursing website.

How come some only get 75 and some get 200+?! I'm a NS and that's such a big disparity. 250 questions must wipe out out.

It just depends on when the tests determines you've reached a passing level... that you have the compentency to be an RN (or LPN, but I think LPN boards have a max of like 200-210 questions.)

Well, I Took My Lvn Test And The Max Is 205 Questions, And Thats Exactly What It Was. A Wipe Out! You Cant Even Really Concentrate After The First 100. I Heard That When You Fail, You Get A Thick Envelope (because You Have To Re-apply To Take The Test Over) And A Thin Envelope For When You Pass. I Wont Be Surprised If I Get A Thick Envelope!

My envelope was pretty thick... Large manilla envelope.
It had my nursing license and a copy of the nurse practice act in it.
