I failed. Question on re-application.

by cd1111

Hi everyone,

Sad to say I failed my NCLEX-RN exam. Anyhow, I have a question regarding the re-application form, do I need to submit a new 'nursing program verification form" even if I completed this form from my previous application? I just want to make sure as it would be difficult for me to coordinate with my school if I have to do this again.

Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks,
cd

i am so sorry to hear you didnt make it. regroup yerself and study again when you are ready. never give up.

you dont need to start over again. when you receive your result, the reapplication form is already included or you may download it to the BON website. No need to submit the nursing program verification as it is already on their file. Unless otherwise stated.

just send in the reapplication form with the 75 dollar bank draft. your eligibility should come within 3 weeks. you can also pay the 200 dollars to pearsonvue immediately and once you're eligible, you'll receive your att within the day (or week). this will save time. you can now schedule your test 45 days after you last took it. goodluck!

You don't need to resend any documents just fees and re application form. Don't rush to resit the exam with retrogression there much waiting time in front of you (over 5 years)

Thanks for all your responses. I will probably mail in my re-application form by the end of the month. I just want to make sure CA BON has taken an action on my fingerprint already. I'll try my best to review very well before sitting for the exam again. There's just so much going on, and my priority of course is my baby coming out very soon (I'm pregnant). I can not really work right away neither I need to soon, I just want to be registered so that I don't have to worry about that in the future. I'm an immigrant here so I don't have problems with retrogression. I feel so disappointed that I have let down my family, but they are very supportive of me, so as you are guys. I'm fine and I'll be fine. I know there's always a next time and I hope I pass the next time I take the exam.

Thanks again.

Dear cd1111,
Don't despair God is good and kind you'll make it next time you take the exam. I just want to share with you my happiness. I just saw my name in the BON web with my RN license number.

Priority is yourself and family, I am sure they are as much upset as you are. When the time is right you will sit the exam and pass. Good luck and you know where you can find support when you start studying again

i failed too, i took the exam dec 7,2008.. was planing to retake the exam..

i jus wanna get it clear cuz my pearsonvue account got deactivated.. i was jus wondering if i got the following steps correct for re-application for the ATT..

1.)pay $75 for the re-application fee
2.)pay $200 for the exam.. additional $150 if outside of the US
3.)call the customer service to activate the account
4.)submit re-application form.. (should i send the nursing verification program too?)

5.)then wait.. for the ATT.. right?

i jus wanna get it clear.. thats like around over $400 for the exam..
