I don't know what to do???

by jillba

I am 2 1/2 weeks from taking NCLEX and I have been doing 100 questions per night for only 1 1/2 weeks, I have been getting 70's on the Saunder's CD questions and I am also doing the questions on the NCSBN review but only getting 50's. I know Suzanne said to postpone the exam until I could do 6 wks with 100 questions but I am afraid of waiting too long after graduating but I am concerned now that my % are very low. any advice?

My advice? Follow what Suzanne told you. What happens if you postpone the test compared to what happens if you take NCLEX when you are not fully prepared?

The goal in taking the exam is to understand what the exam is looking for in an answer. If you are not feeling somewhat comfortable with what you have been doing, then best choice is to postpone for a few weeks, and reschedule, otherwise you could be waiting 45 to 90 days to retake.

You need to feel comfortable with the material, sure, not 100%, but that you can take the exam on and pass. If you being hesitant at this point, and you have been for the past few days, then I suggest waiting, but it is your choice to make.

Good Luck to you. Increase the hours of study and say a prayer before the exam. May God be with you on your test day.
