I am having great difficulty registering for NCLEX. Please help

Ok yall this is my situation. I came to this country at a very young age with my parents on a valid visa since then our visa has expired and my parents has done nothing to adjust our status so now I am an illegal immigrant of this country by default with no way to adjust my status :crying2: I only found out that I was illegal when I started college a few years ago:angryfire . But the bigger problem is I called the State education department and asked them would I be able to take the Nclex and they told me yes I can but they will have to withhold my liscence until I become legal in the U.S. (who knows when that would be). My parents are telling me don't do it because they have to take fingerprints and everything and that may put me at risk for deportation. I am so sad, confused, and frustrated. What do I do? would they report me if I register?. Can someone who knows about Nclex rules and regulations give me some advise please, I really need it. Thank You.

Call the NCSBN and talk to someone (NCSBN authors the NCLEX). They will give you the facts.
