I have not used the Hurst review. I used the Kaplan and passed the NCLEX in 75 questions. However, I have heard that Hurst is pretty good.

I used the online hurst review and I just recently passed with answering only 75 question. I felt very confident after I took the exam, which was weird cause they said that you will feel like you failed after taking it, but I thank hurst review for putting in all the essential info in my brain. The lady always kept saying you need to know the core content to pass the exam. I watched the videos twice. First time I took really good notes and if I don't remember or forgot what the lady said, I would rewind it again. Then the second time I watched it, I also read through the notes while watching it. Then after doing these, I read my notes again. Then I skimmed through a book called nursing made insanely easy by sylvia rayfield, twice and this was such an easy read with pictures! and it simplified everything and it definitely helped me answer a ton of questions on the exam. I have the saunders book as well, but I only read through like 3 chapters. It was difficult for me to go through it cause it was so thick and lacked pictures, plus it was really boring and by the time you finish reading it you dont really remember what you read. But the CD did help a little because for my school, we were required to do 100 questions per week for our last semester, so this probably helped a little.
