Did anyone else take the Hurst Review? I took it, passed my boards 1st time. I thought it was helpful. But I have a friend who wants know if I would recommend it. She is very low on funds and wants to know if she should shell out the cash. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

It's helpfull in the sense of any review is a help. If she's strapped for cash I'd suggest a good NCLEX review book and a book/CD of practice questions.

Most review courses bill themselves as a crucial link to passing. I don't buy it. Well I did buy it and I failed anyway.

I failed the boards the first time and took the Hurst review before taking the NCLEX the second time and PASSED!!! I think it's worth it. Think about it this way...how much will it cost her if she fails???
