HURST ONLINE REVIEW

There are around 30 hours of videos that address each system, maternity, peds, and prioritization/delegation/assignments. With each video comes a worksheet that you fill out and follow along with. You can work at your own pace although they do provide a study plan. They also provide extra materials which are PDF information worksheets on Pharm, hanging blood, testing strategies, donning PPE, infection control, and etc.

After you finish watching the videos, finish studying the material, and feel 100% confident with the material then you can take your six Q Reviews. Which are basically practice 125 practice NCLEX questions (125 Qs for each Q review).

Yeah if you need more of a content based review then Hurst is probably the better choice. They also do throw in test taking strategies here and there and have some in the extra materials which I found helpful.

But, yes you can print the files if you feel that would be easier for you to write things down or you can just bring them up on your screen. You don't have to print them out but it does make it easier to follow along.

The videos were alright... kind of a snoozefest. They follow the study guides you can print out and fill in almost to a T. Their Q-banks were good besides only getting six attempts....

I took Hurst and failed, so I'm a bit of a pessimist on it.

I'm using Hurst and testing on Tuesday. It's good for content (i liked their lectures) and it's helpful for test strategies. I'll let you know how it goes for me!!
