I actually got about 8, I stopped counting from there ~ and decided to concentrate only on the questions I took it on Wednesday. I was light-headed after walking out of the exam.

How to do well? Sorry, I can only say know your pathophysiologies well I know that doesn't help much.

I had 10 but maybe more, I kept track and after I got to 10 I was done tracking them. I also wanted to add a friend of mine recently passed and she had no select all that apply questions... Good luck, just take each select all that apply and answer them like true false questions..Good luck to you!

There is a book that everyone here says may help. It's called Strategies for Alternate Item Formats on the NCLEX-RNŽ Exam by Linda Anne Silvestri MSN RN and Yazmin Mojica MSN/MPH MA RN CNS. I am going to start looking at it next week...I have been at the book store for the past two days going through another book that helps with prioritization, delegation, and making assignments, and I think it is helping alot. I can't wait to start on the next book because SATA makes me nervous.

I got over 20 SATA! I got 2 questions about the same drug. One was patient teaching and one was expected side effects. I only got ONE med calc and it had multiple conversions in it. CRAZY!

I got 5 sata's. I got 2 "put in order" questions. I got about 5 drugs. I got a bunch of priority questions....mostly medsurg. I got one question with lab values, but it was easy - Sodium was 131. No calclulation questions. About 5 delegation questions. It really wasn't that hard. My nursing school was much harder. You can do it!

i got 7-8 SATA. maybe a couple more. i hate them..85% of the time i'd get them wrong when i was doing practice questions. i think everyone hates them because if you don't check one of the answers then the whole answer is wrong! grrr.

Although I did not like SATA, the ones I got on the nclex were easy. They were no where like Kaplan SATA. I got 10 and passed. A friend of mine, got 25 SATA. I was happy to get them because I felt I was doing great since SATA consider to be difficult questions.
