Hello,

I just finished taking the nclex for the third time..It shut off at 110 questions. How many have you passed or failed?

From the hundreds of thread that i have read, the number of questions does not matter at all.. People could pass or fail anytime after 75 questions.. Just do the pvt trick

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

The statistical average number of questions for a nurse that passed the NCLEX-RN is around 135. There is no statistical correlation to the number of questions and passing. Some pass at 75 or 265 questions others do not.

IT'S OFFICIAL!! I am Registered Nurse!!!! so you can pass with 110 questions:) Good luck to everyone! You can do it;) God bless!

I pass at around 120-135, but like suggested above. the number of questions is not connected to a pass

Yay!! I am happy for you!! :) Congratulations:yeah:

Congratulations!!! which materials did you use? give us some tips...

No, I don't think anyone has ever passed with 110 questions. Or failed with 110 questions. Has anyone ever gotten exactly 110 questions?

Obviously, since it's a silly question I'm giving a silly answer! :D

People have gotten whatever number they got. The only time the number means anything AT ALL is when you get the minimum 75.....in which case you either hopelessly failed or rocked it.

Who cares otherwise?

I have used Hurst which it made a big difference..I also used La charity, Lippincott 11 ed q&a, exam cram, AN study guide and Kaplan. I did about 5000 questions and reviewed the rationales. What it made a big difference is doing questions every day!!!...I had 110 questions: 2 math, 2 EKG, 17 SATA, 1 sequence order, 2 pictures, MANY drugs, and TONS priority...Keep practicing questions and really understand the rationale..Good luck to you!

Thankyou.... did the 97 pages study guide helped? should i concentrate on that or should i concentrate on answering questions.... i have 2 weeks left... have gone thru lacharity twice...done few questions and content as well.....

I used the NCLEX study guide made by someone here as a refresher..I did about 5000 questions (1/2/3rd attempt)..I think by going over the content thoroughly and doing questions on that specific topic it magic key for me...just know that you will NOT know 'EVERYTHING'---ITS IMPOSSIBLE..this third attempt I used mainly common sense and strategy and rest were things I knew for sure...Be confident, DON'T GET NERVOUS, TRUST YOURSELF AND GOD...get your sleep and eat right and the rest is history...don't forget READ 'EVERY' WORD IN THE QUESTION!!!...BEST OF LUCK!!! GOD BLESS!:)

Thankyou so much..... let me just do all i can do for these 2 weeks, hope it will go well..... pray for us.
