How many of you have 75 questions passed or failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi, everyone, I am new here

Just took my RN exam yesterday, and... feel so bad. Cannot help it to think I failed it... :crying2: This is my second time to take it. The last time I took it was an year and half ago, I got more than 100 questions, and I failed.

This time, I really spent time preparing for the exam, since I have been out of nursing field for so many years, and it's much harder than I expected and the last time I took it. My brain was blank when I finished the exam. Couldn't remember what kind of questions I had, just memorized that I got a lot of prioritization questions, about 6 to 8. I even got one multiple choice question, when it appeared on my screen, I was so shocked and freaked out.

The computer shut down after I finished 75 questions. I almost cried it out at that time. Cuz I didn't think I do well for all those 75 questions. After I backed home, I kept thinking I failed... :crying2: although my friends kept telling me that having 75 questions is a good sign. I read some msgs posted online and found there are still a lot of people failed with 75 questions... sighs... Don't know what to do next...

People told me I can go onto CA BON's web site to check if my name is on their licensing database. I did go check it... but since I took it on Friday morning, and it's weekend now, I guess I have to wait couple days... sighs...

thank u so much leilah but its currently being updated right now maybe i should try again later.

:uhoh3: aye they update it everyday about 2am to 4am PST i think. goodluck to you.

i think they only posted names who are already in the states or canada. but if we're here in the philippines we should wait for the mail :uhoh21:

I took NCLEX in Hong Kong on 24th of December and I was dancing in front of the elevator of the test center (nobody was around). I was relieved from the fact that I finally could sit for this exam.

I followed Suzanne's advises and used Saunders Book. When I was done with the book I asked for the 6 weeks program, but had less then 6 weeks, so, I did not get it. Instead, I did most of the questions from the CD, around 3000 if not more only from the CD.

I am afraid to say I have positive thinking, coz if the results come negative, how will I look at everybody's eyes? And everyone around is so sure I passed. That is why I will wait till I get the results.

I am out of the US and as I don't have SSN I will have to wait looooonger.

My computer went off on 75 questions as well. I was racing and finished in 70 min. All I kept thinking is what if I get 265 questions, I need to hurry!

Most of the questions on prioritizing and delegation, 1 all that apply, 3 meds...

I didn't feel that the questions become very difficult or very easy... Is this a bad sign?

Keep your fingers crossed for me too, please!

i had 75 questions and FAILED:o :o .. but 5 of my friends also had 75 ques. and passed... unlucky for me that i didn't make it. not my time yet....:o

not true. nobody is so sure about what the result of the test wil be until bon releases it. it is not how many questions you have answered, it doesnt depend on whether u got the last question right or wrong.

you have done your best, and you shld be congratulated. pass or.... believe that you passed... enjoy while waiting. u may wanna look if your bon participates with quick results.

i am sure you made it. grats in advance;)

I passed for my LPN with a 75 and my RN was 78. Both times I just KNEW I had failed. MY daughter who was already a nurse of 4 years said "Oh Mom congratulations you passed." When I told her about the machine shutting off.
