How long does it usually take for the state board to post a license? I am from MS, I know every state is different but, I am just looking for an average time.

It took them 3 to 7 days to send me the official results at home.

Oregon:

My state board had mine posted first thing the next day; complete with with licence #. I literally waited 24 hours. My friend says I should recieve my actual licence in the mail in 4-5 days.

Pearson-Vue sends pass or no-pass results to the state's BON by computer and almost immediately. There are no grades issued. Then it is dependent on how the state does the processing. There is a state that actually has the license number posted by the time that the nurse returns home, and there are others that take three weeks or so.

Indiana - took NCLEX on Thurs, had license # posted on state site by 2pm Friday and license in hand by following Tuesday
